At PhoneThru we don’t charge weekly fees for landline numbers, but we can’t afford to let them sit idle either. Believe it or not landline numbers are limited – especially in some regional areas. To make sure we have enough numbers for everyone, we take back landline numbers that aren’t in active use.
If you’re coming back after having closed your account, or you’d just like a number you had previously, you can try to recover it.
Sign in to your account at https://phonethru.com/login and scroll down to the My Numbers card on the home page. If you have active numbers they’ll be shown here. If you don’t have any active numbers it will look like the screenshot here.
Tap the ADD A NUMBER button.
On the Add a Landline Number page you’ll see all the details you need to know about adding a PhoneThru landline number to your account: price, included call minutes, roll-over and so on.
If you have had a number previously, and it is currently available, you will see the RECOVER A PREVIOUS NUMBER button.
If you don’t see the button, then you either haven’t had a number on this account before, or your previous number is not available.
Tap the RECOVER A PREVIOUS NUMBER button to continue.
Your first available number will be selected automatically. If that’s the number you want, you’re good to go.
If the number selected isn’t the number you want to recover tap the Show other available landline numbers you’ve had before expander to display the list of all your available previous numbers.
If the number you’re after doesn’t appear in the expander list, it’s not available and can’t be recovered.
When you’ve selected the number you want, press the CONTINUE button to go to the Checkout page to complete your purchase.
